What could your energy costs look like?

Compare petrol with battery electric energy costs using your own assumptions. A useful starting point for a bigger conversation.

Make it your fleet.

All defaults are hypothetical inputs, not model specifications or current energy tariffs. Adjust them to your own usage.

ILLUSTRATIVE ANNUAL DIFFERENCE
$50,300

less in energy costs across 20 vehicles

Petrol · per vehicle / year$4,000
Electric · per vehicle / year$1,485
Discuss your whole-of-life costs

Energy comparison only. Not a quote or a verified saving. Excludes purchase price, finance, taxes, maintenance, insurance, depreciation and charging infrastructure. No emissions or tax benefit is calculated.

How this is calculated

Petrol = annual km ÷ 100 × L/100 km × $/L. Electric = annual km ÷ 100 × kWh/100 km × (1 + overhead/100) × $/kWh. Fleet difference = (petrol − electric) × vehicles. Overhead means extra energy above battery consumption. Figures are rounded to whole AUD; both inputs must use the same GST basis.

GOOD QUESTIONS. CLEAR ANSWERS.

Let’s talk details.

The things to consider as you plan your fleet’s next chapter.

Is an electric fleet right for our business?+

Start with daily kilometres, vehicle loads, parking and charging access. A fleet assessment and vehicle evaluation can help determine which roles suit battery electric vehicles and where a plug-in hybrid may be worth considering.

Can we evaluate a vehicle before ordering?+

You can prepare an evaluation request using the enquiry form below. Vehicle availability, locations, loan periods, insurance and eligibility need to be confirmed with the dealer. This preview does not reserve a vehicle.

What fleet sizes can you help with?+

The draft offer spans small business fleets from 5 vehicles through to corporate fleets of 500+. These are planning segments, not confirmed eligibility thresholds. Ask the supplying dealer about current fleet terms.

What finance options should we consider?+

Business purchase, finance leases, operating leases and novated leasing may suit different circumstances. Availability depends on the provider, eligibility and credit approval. Seek independent financial and tax advice; this page provides no personalised recommendation.

Do you help with charging and vehicle accessories?+

Include your charging access, sites, equipment needs and fit-out requirements in your enquiry. Hardware, installation, compatibility, warranty implications and any third-party services require separate assessment and confirmation.

Are the calculator savings guaranteed?+

No. The calculator compares only hypothetical annual petrol and electricity costs using your inputs. Actual costs vary with tariffs, charging behaviour, weather, routes and vehicle use. It excludes all other ownership costs and does not predict a verified saving.
